Why static hosting is more secure

A static site is a collection of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and image files. There is no database to attack, no PHP to exploit, no server-side execution that can be compromised. The attack surface is essentially zero. Traditional web hosting runs server software 24 hours a day; if it has a vulnerability, your site is at risk. A static site on Cloudflare's network has none of these exposure points.

The one thing you do need: a domain name
